Our print designers might be good at making colourful patterns but they are also experts on fluid mechanics. So when you say ‘oh isn’t that a nice little pattern,’ they’ll say those jagged contours on the fabric surface disrupt the laminar flow of water molecules, inducing turbulence and reducing drag.
