The partner to child-prodigy artistic swimmer, Chaz Michael, Torvil became a star in her own right when Chaz was stung riding an electric eel in the Dubai Mall aquarium. Footage of the stunning lift performed by Torvil of Chaz’s limp body from the sea floor to the water’s surface was captured by hundreds of mesmerised onlookers, with many believing her feat was reminiscent of a biblical scene. She was of course wearing her Funkitas while performing the divine act.
